The management are terrible. I wouldn't suggest people to live there.
Well, we recently moved in at the end of August which I must say the weather was perfect for exterior repairs. The apartment we rented had been vacant for a while we were told. Well now which is winter, cold and raining not to mention windy. they started making repairs to the exterior of my building and leveling the foundation of the 2-story building I reside in I am the corner where the foundation has been sinking apparently and obviously for a while. Anyhow, I was not told the extent of the work until it was actually being that it was when I realize what was happening and of cause when all my walls and floor started to crack, my bathroom tiles in the shower broke off it impossible to shower without water getting on the walls. I informed them as if they had no clue. They laugh and said that is not my job. The other guy "the maintenance guy said" I go in tomorrow and check. Well it has been a week and I am still with broken tiles and cracks on my walls throughout the entire bathroom, closet, kitchen, bedroom window and gaps between the floor and walls. I have informed the management office but no one has even been around. the first notice was for one day which was to be Wed. then we got a 2nd notice which was for two days. (Thur and Fri) nothing was done. except they picked up a few tiles from the bathroom and left the bag with the broken tiles in front of my entrance. The air/wind is blowing into the apartment from the basement mostly I can hear the air filtering, the outside noise and my apartment is freezing. The management is aware but has done nothing. I gave notice to vacate and they are telling me if i do i will breaking my lease and i will have to pay penalty fee for early termination and they will keep all of my deposit as penalty. How can they even consider this to be legal or right, it is so unethical unprofessional, just simple and pliantly wrong
