I am looking for a new roommate starting June 1st in my 2-bedroom apartment on Bleecker Street near 6th Avenue in the heart of Greenwich Village. The apartment is clean and quiet and is located on a very desirable and convenient residential block. The room is small but has a full closet, a large window overlooking a courtyard, new air-conditioning and a very good posterpedic foam mattress bed and frame. We would share the foyer, kitchen and bathroom. I am looking for someone who is educated, professional and fully-employed, clean, quiet and respectful, and ideally a non-smoker with no unusual habits. This apartment is a wonderful refuge from the extremely busy city, and we don't entertain friends here, as there are many bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. I am an early-thirties straight male and I work in digital media. My last roommate was female and that was a good dynamic, but I am open to any roommate possibility. Your share of the rent would be $1,275 and that includes the following utilities: Time Warner Cable, high-speed Wifi Internet, water and gas. We would split additional electricity charges in July through September for the air-conditioning (TBD).
