Greetings!
I am one half of a Lesbian Couple who share a spacious 3br in Astoria. We live
off Broadway about 1/2 a block away from the 46th St R/M train stop. We're
looking for someone cool and laidback to replace the awesome girl who's sadly
moving back to Europe.
About the apt:
We are in the second floor of a multifamily house with the owner/landlord
living below us. Our apartment is ethnically decorated with Moroccan fixtures,
furniture, and fabrics. The Living room is spacious and flows into the
kitchen. We enjoy our balcony in the summer and even in the winter, as it's
covered. We have one full bathroom, and one half bathroom in the master BR
where we stay. Your bedroom shares a wall with us and is a bright, sunny, and
spacious bedroom directly across from the bathroom and will be unfurnished. I
use the third bedroom as storage for my things.
About your roomates:
We are in our late 20s and both work in the restaurant business. We work hard,
but we also play hard. We are fun and free-spirited and unwind by playing
music, drinking, going out, and being social when our schedule permits. We
deep clean the apartment every week and maintain the kitchen, bathrooms, and
floors on a daily basis. My girlfriend smokes inside her room, but if it's a
problem she can smoke on the balcony.
What we want in a roomate:
We are not one of those people who place a million restrictions and
requirements on our roomate. With that being said, if you're on the uptight
side, this apt is definitely not for you. All we want is someone who is
preferable gay or at least ok with us being a lesbian couple, someone who will
pay rent on time, someone who doesn't mind the occasional late night after-
party (at a respectable noise level), someone who will clean up after
themselves EVERY DAY, and someone who can commit to at least 3 months of
living with us (month to month after 90 days with a 30 day notice to move
out). Occasional overnight guests are ok with us, as long as you clean up
after them.
$900 deposit + $900 rent --all inclusive and includes electric, cable,
internet, heat & AC (if you have a unit you want to install). Need someone by
