We are subletting our home in the heart of Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood, which encompasses the Atlantic Avenue district - designer shops and trendy restaurants all around (although our block is very quiet). We are also close to Smith Street, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, etc.. Our neighborhood, and particularly our block, is treelined, beautiful and quiet, more about that below if you are interested. Best of all, we are close to most of the subway lines (1 block to the A,C,G trains; 2 blocks to the 2,3 trains; 4 blocks to the F,4,5,B,D,Q,N,R trains) and are close to virtually all Manhattan points - 15-20 minutes to Downtown, 20-25 minutes to midtown; and approximately 20 minutes by G train to the heart of Williamsburg.

About our home: We live on the 3rd floor of a walk up building (2 flights up, ground floor is the first floor in the US). Our apartment has 9.5 foot ceilings and is South-facing - as a result, it gets excellent light all day. Our creature comforts: a King sized bed(76 x 80 inches or 193 x 203 cm), 2 airconditioners, hardwood floors, tiled kitchen and bath, an eat-in kitchen, a nice fold-out couch with adjustable sides, and plants galore (our friend will take these if you can't look after them). We also have all possible cooking utensils - from stock pots to an oyster shucker. We have closets, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and plenty of storage.

Rent is $2600/month (30 day period), shorter / longer times will be prorated. We will give preference to a tenant who will sublet for the entire time. We will require a security deposit of $1,000.
