El Pollo Loco
Christopher Rogers: At El Pollo Loco, pronounced “L Po-yo Lo-co” and Spanish for “The Crazy Chicken,” we go to crazy lengths for our signature citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken. First, we marinate fresh, whole chickens in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The whole chickens are then fire-grilled, hand-cut, and served with our chicken meals, burritos, salads, soups, tacos and quesadillas. And if that’s not enough, we apply that same passion to our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. Some say the lengths we go to are crazy. We say it’s Crazy You Can Taste.

Abe Chang: I first tried Lemonade in Weho. I liked the place from the start, but for some reason, trying to figure out how to order food seemed more difficult than it should have been. I'm glad they opened one in Brentwood and still love their food. Their lemonade, despite the name is way too sweet for me though, so I skip it.
Bai Plu Thai & Sushi Bar
Michele K: This is a neighborhood favorite probably because of the large sushi bar and the larger size of the restaurant in general. Most sushi places to be small and lack atmosphere. Bai Plu is a good place to host a large group. The owner is a small gregarious woman and brings bit of spice to the place. Sushi chefs are fun bunch of guys and I like the fact that you get good Thai food here as well.
