Exchanged a few emails with a "real estate consultant" and scheduled a viewing that ended up being rescheduled that ended up being cancelled. When I cancelled, I wrote that I was sincerely sorry for wasting his time, and he replied with an incredibly rude reply: "So to put me off and then reschedule and all to waste my time. thank you." For this agency to have employed this man is a sheer waste of capital. I'm sure there are more polite agents who have decent customer service. Avoid Ariel like the plague.

Great experience with these guys - a friend of mine recommended Jude Scott and Gretchen Grunzke so I made sure to meet with them. After only one day of searching, Jude managed to find us a place in an absolute ideal location and within our budget. They made the apartment hunting in NYC far less hectic than it could have been, and were *extremely* helpful when it came to the payment process in securing the apartment we chose and getting the applications processed quickly. They understood we were students and helped us out with/explained everything. My roommate and I just recently moved into an apartment we found through Best Apartments with our wonderful broker, Jude Scott. My roommate is from Scotland so things were inevitably a little more difficult to get everything in terms of paperwork and funds figured out, but Jude was absolutely wonderful in working with us to find a place we loved and within our budget, as well as not being pushy or demanding as other brokers and agencies can be. The company was able to really work with us in just about every way. They were truly on our side and wanting us to be find a place we were happy with instead of just being out to take our money. I'd definitely recommend Best Apartments to anyone looking into finding a place in the city. Friendly atmosphere all around and a great experience overall.
