Customer service was fair. What can you expect it's New York. The manager took care of any discrepancies with our stay. This is one hotel that if you're expecting great customer service and free amenities you're in for a big surprise because they really don't have that. The rooms however were very nice and it's in an excellent part of Time Square. Wi-Fi cost about $20 a day, and business center cost you five bucks to check your email and print off one page. they will nickel and dime you at every corner. We asked for a fork and a knife and they charged us almost 2 dollars.

Great rooms, very friendly staff, and great location. Perfect walking distance from everything NYC has to offer. Highly recommended for a great experience. Will be the place we book for the next NYC trip. Thank you.

I've stayed here a couple of times, but my main experience with this place is coming to visit for business functions. The rooms are always clean and well-appointed, you get nice views, and the bar is a good place to hang out after work functions are over. However, I recently had an experience in the lobby that makes me want to advise any clients or businesses I consult with not to patronize this hotel. I was sitting in the lobby after a meeting waiting on a client who was also staying there, as we'd arranged. A security guard came through and started saying to people: Do you have a room key? If you don't, this isn't a public lounge and you have to leave. I was 3pm. Now, I can understand if this was late at night. Most hotels don't want random people around after 11. But at 3pm? What? Since when do hotels need to roust people from a not even full lobby? I informed the security guard that I was waiting on a hotel guest. He said that i still had to go. he said "they" (I guess management) insisted that people can only be in the lobby if they are a guest or part of an event or conference. I told him i was part of an event. Nope. Goodbye. I then went and found a manager and related this story to her. She said she would be having a talk with him but confirmed that they do periodic sweeps through the lobby. What? Why? There isn't even free coffee and tea or anything. I find this so ungenerous and baffling. There are plenty of other hotels with the same prices that don't have these policies. I'll advise my clients to go to any one of those.

Will not book another meeting there again. Staff is friendly, thus two stars instead of one, but prices are ridiculous. Wanted four flipcharts in two rooms. The cost of the flipcharts was reasonable - $110 per room. But what do you think they charged to set them up? SEVEN HOURS OF LABOR at $90/hour - EACH DAY for a total of $630 EACH DAY. Almost an hour per flipchart to set them up - seriously??? Eight flipcharts in two rooms for two days cost over $1600!! Hire a limo to take you to Staples and save yourself $1000...
