Great location between the 163 and 805 freeways. Getting to most of the greater San Diego area is a breeze. The grounds are maintained pretty well. There is a small fitness/rec area with a TV, couch, full kitchen, bathrooms, treadmills, and surprisingly a large bookshelf (which is full). The entire complex is one bedroom only. The apartments are great for the price. Only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because... parking sucks! You get one designated spot per apartment and either you or your spouse/whomever else you live with has to try and park on Genesee. No complaints other than parking.

Genesee Park Apartments are good but the manager is horrible, rude, mean, racist, and heartless. They do not have a good custmer service. She is a old crazy lady. Thank God we got to know her before we moved in to those apartments. She is horrible and does not listen to you and does not want to answer any of your questions. I have rented a lot but I have never had such a horrible experience.
