DON'T MOVE HERE! Ever since we moved in this place has been a disappointment. First we saw rats when we moved into our apartment in August and in February we still have rats. Then we walked into our apartment which still wreaked of paint and new carpet, which they didn't clean and contained screws and nails that we were lucky enough to find every couple of days walking around our expensive apartment. Six months later we have had our dryer break four times, dishwasher break, floor peeling, toilet break, both showers stop working twice, faucet fall off, towel bars fall off, paint ruin anything that is close to the walls (even now), and no one in this complex cleans up after their dogs. A perfect way to describe this place is to say it's a horrible choice in a box of chocolates. You look at the box. Think it's pretty. Open it and it looks nice enough with a lot to offer. You choose one and hope that it is as great as it looks, but in fact it tastes like manure and the taste won't get out of your mouth. It makes you gag. Maybe even vomit. You try everything to get the taste out of your mouth, but since you made the choice to try it you are forever in despair. Don't move here. It is a rat infested, falling apart sh*thole that deserves to be condemned.
WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX! I am writing with sincere disappointment for this apartment complex. Run for the hills and save your money $$. The neighbors smoke, there is no parking, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything from footsteps to people's TVs and conversations. When trying to break a lease because of these terrible living conditions the staff was not helpful and in sincere in resolving these problems.
The new management company "Mill Creek" has been difficult to work with and slow to address maintenance and repairs. They are more concerned with upgrades than ensuring apartments and the complex is functional. The parking is also a nightmare! People are parked behind cars and in firelanes.
This place SUCKS! Yes, the location is great, and the grounds and apartments look nice, but it is built and run horribly! The walls are so thin, we constantly hear the guy downstairs playing music late into the night. The windows are cheap, when it's cold outside, your apartment is freezing (when it snows, there will even be snow on your windmills!) when it's hot outside, your apartment will be a sauna. We are moving soon to get far away from this place. If it weren't for the horrible management/staff, we would probably stay... We have been trying to get our heater fixed for MONTHS. Maintenance people continue to come "look at" and "fix" the heater, but never do so, always telling us that they need to order a part, and don't come back again until we call again. Molly in the office is continually rude to residents. She acts like you are bothering her by asking questions and by stepping foot into the office.
Great location but disorganized / sometimes* rude management. Was given renewal notice with a reduction of $200 to my surprise, visited with them multiple times about it, and then upon trying to sign the renewal they said the renewal notice was a typo, wanted to instead hike the rate $35 a month, and that it was not legally binding. They also would not replace our dishwasher that won't drain properly or oven that the door hangs slightly open on without us signing the renewal. Only after reaching out to the corporate headquarters was the current rate locked in with a one time $50 discount. Coincidentally our utilities tripled the month we re-signed, as the same company that owns the apartment also owns the company for the sewer / water / trash due that corrected an error with our account on an audit, according to management. Grounds are not well maintained during the winter and the hot tub has been broken almost the entire winter.
