Easily the best pad Thai I've been able to find in the city, nice atmosphere, great service. I don't care much for the seating but it can be overlooked! Would definitely recommend if looking for an authentic Thai spot that doesn't break the bank.

Incredible food at a great value. Decent cocktails. Service is a crap shoot. It can get pretty noisy in there, but I'm old, so that's not really my thing. Honestly it is our go-to Thai joint when in Midtown/HK.

Room Service is one of my favorite spots in midtown west/Hells Kitchen area. I recommend this place to guy friends who need advice on where to take a girl on a date. It's very romantic and cozy, with dim lighting. Cost wise, for about $10 I got a thai dish! My friend and I got two appetizers, and I recommend the fried calamari. For $6 it's pretty filling!

I judge Thai restaurants by how sweet the food is (usually sugar is used to mask lack of flavor and poor quality), the noodles (globs of noodles or noodles that are too clumpy are bad), the quality of the rice (flavorful but unassuming, individual grains, fluffiness), and spice (complex heat or burn your taste buds so you can't taste the lack of flavor). Room Service meets and exceeds my benchmarks. Just wish it got an A from Dept of Health instead of a B.
