Visconti is a terrible place to live. Management claims that it is a "luxury" apartment complex but it is basic and not good value for money. Management and the staff are the worst. They are rude and unhelpful and do not care about their residents. In the past year there has been 7 month long "beautification" construction that didn't even make a difference, no residents were compensated for this disruption. We were not able to use our windows or balcony for 4 weeks and the pool was closed for 8 weeks during the summer (great timing!). There has also been flooding and disruption to our water supply, the emails sent by staff would constantly lie about the time the water would be turned back on. They provided no alternative place to shower during this 3 day period. During the worst flooding they required affected residents to use their own renters insurance to claim on damages/expenses when the flooding was completely the fault of the complex/bad construction. They allow Larsons towing to tow resident's cars from legitimate parking spaces and show no sympathy or help to their paying residents when this happens. If you wish to break your lease you must give 60 days notice AND pay for an additional 2 months once you move out. Living here is a money making scam and it is obvious that money is the only thing management is interested in and not the happiness of their residents. I will say the security guard is friendly, and the maintenance staff are friendly and prompt. I hope no one ever has to deal with the property manager Karen, she is a nightmare.

Great place to live. You can read all the negative comments on here but most of the construction was to better the complex. Yes there were a few floods but everything has been repaired and fixed. I know of a few other complexes that flooded as well. My apartment wasnt effected but sometimes things happen. The leasing office is great. Everytime I've gone to pick up a package or ask a question they know you by first name. You dont see that kind of service anymore. If you are a young professional this is the best bang for the buck. All other apartments charge more and have smaller units. If you are looking to stay in this area this is the perfect spot. I just renewed for another year after looking at all the competition around this area. It's a no brainer.

Main demographic is college peeps. If you're on the slow-down with a partner/spouse or kids, you may want to reconsider. Garage is a racetrack and unsafe. Leasing office communication for resident concerns, like what to do in case of a fire or why was the building evacuated last night at 2am or why are the hallways covered in fire extinguisher chemicals, will go unheard and unanswered. They will tell you promptly when rest is raised every year. They will not let you out of a lease. There is a gym the size of an AnyTime Fitness but lately equipment has failed like the treadmill that's been out of commish for 3 months. There is a nice lobby with a pool table and TVs but you can only use it when the office is open. The maintenance staff is great, however. They are on top of your requests. There is one security patrolman but I can still hear parties at the pool at 3 in the morning. The water utility bill is unorganized so you may double pay on some months. Verizon is good here. TECO is on your tab. Location is nice and close to Int.Mall and CCB. Tough to give more than 2 stars for the lack of communication, the clientele and mishaps all around.

Terrible place!! Something always going wrong. 2 Floods that left us with no water or AC for days. Separate times too. Always fixing stuff and making it very inconvenient for you to live there. Actually felt unsafe at certain points. Please don't live here, you can search and find something a lot better for maybe just a little bit more money

IF YOU LIKE TO BE INCONVENIENCED MOVE HERE. The amount of construction going on at this property is out of control. For what you pay to live here, it is not worth it. If you like not being able to park on your floor for over a month, if you like being woken up by construction at 8 am right outside your window on a Saturday, or if you like not being able to use a balcony THAT YOU PAY FOR due to the construction outside your apartment then Visconti is the place for you :)
