Evan Cox: Nord’s is an old school neighborhood bakery that’s been in the neighborhood for 70 years (though the current owners are, I believe, the second batch of owners). Friendly isn’t a strong enough adjective to describe the staff. Of course when you’re product is this damn good and people are so happy to buy from you why wouldn’t you be friendly? Evan Cox: The hot spot in Louisville's Germantown and the Schnitzelburg area! Featuring entertainment every night. Club 21 is a corner bar that epitomizes Germantown. It's gritty but friendly, with lots of neighborhood regulars. Belly up to the bar, take a booth, or shoot some pool. There's a full pub-grub menu, and as long as the doors are open, the kitchen is too.
