Jesse Kocher: Black Coffee is a worker’s cooperative recently formed with the intention to create a café space & infoshop in Seattle.

Jesse Kocher: Tasty food, great space, nice waitstaff, great happy hour deals, and a discount if you live nearby. Love it!

Jesse Kocher: Big good food. Great relaxed feel. Ended up there around closing and some friends of the restaurant played some music and danced while they closed up, and they didn't hurry us out so we got to stick around and enjoy it while we finished our food.

Jesse Kocher: Huge beer selection and full kitchen with a wood fired oven. Check the balcony for maximum enjoyment potential.

Jesse Kocher: Solid food and great active atmosphere. Good for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night.

Jesse Kocher: Remember to tap your orca card on the yellow readers *before* you take the elevator down to the subterranean tunnels!

Jesse Kocher: This stop opens in 2020. The Cap Hill and the Stop by Husky stadium open in 2016, but the UW stop at 43rd and Brooklyn, the Roosevelt stop, and Northgate stop don't open till 2020.

Jesse Kocher: Delicious! Nearby Washington Square Park is a good place to eat your bagels. Squirrels were hella jealous.

Jesse Kocher: Great spring rolls and papaya salads. My favorite is the lemongrass beef bun (noodle dish).

Jesse Kocher: Old water tower now provides nice views over the city after a spiraling staircase to the top.

Jesse Kocher: Great place for chiropractic with Dr Kohler and massage with 3 practitioners downstairs. I've been to each of them more than once, and see Dr Kohler regularly (though less and less often!)

Jesse Kocher: This little gravel road is used by pedestrians and bikers. Great morning views over the water.

Jesse Kocher: Some of the best Thai food in Seattle is right inside this door. Yes, really :)

Jesse Kocher: Gorgeous way to cut under 520 rather than go over it. Connects the Montlake Playground to the Montlake bridge. Look close on a map to see the trail.

Jesse Kocher: The whole foods of Asian groceries -- really nice place but more expensive. Good produce, meats, fish (including sashimi grade, plus things like eel and octopus).

Jesse Kocher: My favorite Asian grocery, great for lime leaves, lemongrass, fish sauce, etc. it's compact but very well stocked

Jesse Kocher: Amazing burger truck with diverse options, including to have a burger sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches :)
