Barb White: This area is part of the ohio bikeways. A quiet community that truly is a real gem in Cleveland's necklace

Barb White: How would you like to be sitting in your living room and looking at this view of Downtown? that is exactly the view from these homes. It makes for a pleasant walk in the evening or for that matter anytime of day.

Barb White: The Seeley is one of the many old apartment buildings on Lake ave. I just love walking down this tree lined street in the summer

Barb White: West Side Christian Scientists worshiped in this octagonal stone building from 1926 until 1989, when the congregation moved to Rocky River. It is a well known landmark. The city of Cleveland now owns it and is trying to decide what to do with it.

Barb White: You would't believe it but this little gas station/ grocery has over 700 wines for sale inside.

Barb White: Great old apartments really do look like a castle. This area has some great architecture from the early 1900's

Barb White: So sad to see some old churches close down, but the community is proposing some great new ideas for it's use

Barb White: Why didn't they have these when I was a kid? Splash area looks so inviting on a hot summer day. It is adjacent to the indoor pool that has a huge doorway that can be opened in summer so the kids can go back and forth.

Barb White: Great view looking down West Blvd with all the old oaks and maple trees making a canopy over the street

Barb White: Rather walking, driving or riding a bike this view of the lake and downtown from Tillman road is super.

Barb White: A real haven for the neighborhood kids. It has a ball field, swings and even a water fountain to run through on those hot August days

Barb White: This small patch of trail is complete with doggy bags when you take your favorite pooch for a walk.

Barb White: A cute little place with some awesome clothes. Everything is designed and made right here in Cleveland

Barb White: These huge curved concrete benches are all positioned int the shade. At night the benches are illuminated from below with red lights.

Barb White: A view down St. Clair looking towards downtown Cleveland on a sunny day. At night the terminal tower shine true and clear. It is always nice to see what color lights the terminal is wearing.

Barb White: Established in 1902 St. Paul's is one of the few churches that actually offers mass in both English and Croatian. One of the wonderful and beautiful things about the Cleveland area is all the diverse churches that are here.

Barb White: The resource center for Ohio Technical College. The school opened up here in Cleveland around 1969. Back then it was the Ohio Diesel Mechanics school. Things have changed a lot since then. They even have a program working on classic cars today.

Barb White: New luxury apartment on the shore of Lake Erie. What a great view they have including the Urban Shepards and their sheep

Barb White: The Song of the Whales is number 75 by Wyland the famous mural painter of Hawaii. It was painted in 1997 and stands over 300 feet by 108 feet tall. It is a Painted on the side of Cleveland Public Power building and can be viewed from the shoreway. The area is complete with park benches so you can sit for awhile and contemplate the great whales

Barb White: This home was built in 2007. It is an Asian Craftman style home. With the help of family and friends or anyone at the time that wanted to lend a hand, it was built using 30 - 40 hay bales. The front yard is Asian inspired garden space watered by rainwater diverted from down spots. All straw bale houses include a “truth window” providing evidence of authentic construction and this house is no exception.

Barb White: Inner court yard of condos is complete with balconies and your own private stained glass windows.

Barb White: The Taylor road synagogue is just one of the many Temples in this diverse community. Reform and conservative congregation live side by side with other religious groups.

Barb White: Another view along Mornington lane. It is such a great walk and makes you feel like your strolling back in time. A must for walking in the area don't miss this. Great for bicycles too

Barb White: If you want the best, a "real" bagel, this is the place to come. They have been here for over 56 years and, trust me, they sell real New York style Jewish bagels. Makes my mouth water just thinking of them

Barb White: This iconic street mural is only seen from the parking area behind the shops on Lee Rd. It depicts shops on Lee road taken as seen through a camera reflecting the shops from a store front window. The store in the middle was Ingersol hardware, now out of business, it was "The" place to go for whatever you needed.

Barb White: This fountain is most used as a giant bird bath. It is fun watching the birds stand in the water and take a bath. They really to wash up

Barb White: Tin cans of popcorn to take home or for gifts plus ice cream . Can't beat that.

Barb White: They gave some of the coolest art work, you have to check it out. Paintings, glass work and metal work. Step off the street and quench your artistic side

Barb White: Toys, games and books for kids of all ages. I love to brows around to enjoy all the cool things they have for kids

Barb White: One of the many food trucks on the streets of Ohio city. Street food has been raised to new heights

Barb White: This school has a Beautiful campus. It has grown and expanded since it was originally built in 1886 by the Jesuits. Sprawling several blocks.

Barb White: Not only is this a functional bike rack but it spells out "Ohio City"

Barb White: A great way for the locals to grow their own food. Can't wait till summer to see what will grow this year

Barb White: This house was built by the natural History museum and moved here. It has no furnace and still keeps you warm during our cold Cleveland winters. it has no open flames in the entire house. Electric appliances make it super green

Barb White: The only street in Cleveland that is still paved with wood.

Barb White: One of many university Circle signs. It gots it's name because it was the end of the line for the old trolley. Today it's a cultural hub for Cleveland.
