    Currently the volume of pedestrian and bicycle traffic on this busy street is rather low. However, with the soon to be built transit station only feet away the limited amount of side walk space is insufficient and unsafe.

    The two crossing here pose a significant threat to pedestrians because the high rate of speed at which the traffic is moving half of which has the sun in their eyes. There are no signals, speed bumps or markings to warn vehicles of potential pedestrians.
