The tram crosses the East River at regular intervals and costs $2.50 per ride, which can be paid by Metrocard. The Q32 also takes you to #RooseveltIsland. The tram is a much better choice, though. Not only is it extremely fast (a few minutes), but it also offers stunning views of Manhattan, Queens and the Island.
