On Kingswell Ave. facing Vermont Ave. Despite LA's citywide shortage of available parking, vehicles can be parked at the meters along the main roads running through Los Feliz. Still fumbling in your purse for coins? No sweat! Payment can be made via debit/credit cards at the meters.

Dine al fresco @El Greco Cafe before/after a movie at the Los Feliz 3 Cinemas next door. Public parking is available with meters at the lot behind the cafe and movie house. Take note that street parking in the immediate area is also metered, unless you don't mind parking your car a couple of blocks away further into the residential homes of the area.

A pedestrian's view east of Palmer Ave outside the park. Further up the street, you'll notice the area is mostly residential with a small cluster of local businesses and another playground/park, Adams Square Mini Park, not even a mile away.

A small playground next to what seems like an abandoned 1950's gas station in Adams Square Mini Park would be an alternative location for parents to take their children who aren't quite ready to play by library etiquette.

Driving up Chevy Chase Blvd, Art's Bakery is located right before the stoplight on Acacia. Art's has the BEST bird's nest (pastry) in town among their other offerings of sweet & delectable goodies.
