Anderson Center Station offers space for events and meetings. Farmers market is held in summer in its parking lot. It also is a park and ride lot for the folks who ride bus to work.
Fireman's Memorial in Beech Acres Park pays tribute to those who served the department and honors firefighters who died in the line of duty. The memorial has a 7 foot tall bronze statue of a firefighter.
