Bola Williams

Salutations! My name is Bola Williams and I am a life long resident of the D.C. Metropolitan area. I was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, and I have extensive knowledge about the District of Columbia, Prince George's County and Montgomery County, Maryland.
H st County Club
Bola Williams: Looking for some of the best Mexican food in DC? Look not further, the H. St Country Club is a Mexican resturant, that has arcade games, put put golf and a pretty big rooftop deck. The steak and huevos are fantastic, along with the bottomless mimosa's and the tequila selection is fairly good from what I hear. I stopped in for brunch around noon on a Saturday they HSCC has brunch Saturday's and Sundays from 11am until 3pm then close from 3pm until 5pm and open everyday at 5pm.
Dangerously Delicious Truck
Bola Williams: Are you kidding me? This place has the best pies I've ever had! They do not only offer sweet pies they also offer savory pies (think chicken pot pie) and quiche. While I've only had the chocolate pecan, chocolate peanut butter and the apple crumb I've heard great things about the pumpkin, cherry and blueberry pies. The best thing about this place aside from the pies is that they are open until midnight Monday thru Thursday at the H St location, 3:30am Friday and Saturday and until 10pm Sundays
Joe Cole Recreation Center
Bola Williams: Joe Cole park as the neighbors call it, is a recreation center that was opened in Nov 2011 and is open to the public. The rec center is located on the Wheatley Educational Campus and serves the students as well as the public. The rec center features a basketball court and astro turf field outside. Inside there is a computer lab, gymnasium, and locker room.
Eatonville
Bola Williams: I absolutely love this place! The honey cornbread muffins are a great appetizer (FYI the muffins have actual pieces of corn in them). The southern fried chicken with the macaroni and cheese for an entree is fantastic! The chicken is not too spicy however there is a hint of spice and the macaroni and cheese is robust with flavor. The wait staff is friendly and this is a nice alternative to Marvins which is right around the corner or Bus Boys and Poets which is across the street.
Ben's Next Door
Bola Williams: If you plan on heading over to the U St corridor you have to check out Ben's Next Door! Founded a few years back Bens Next Door offers the same half smoke and fries with less crowded atmosphere. Check out there Fresh A.I.R (Artist In Residency) nights when they have local musical talents perform.
Ben's Chili Bowl
Bola Williams: As if this place needs any introduction! Quite possibly the most famous landmark in DC, Ben's Chili bowl is known for its chili covered half smokes. 44th President Barak Obama and comedian Bill Cosby are the only two people on the face of the earth Read MoreAs if this place needs any introduction! Quite possibly the most famous landmark in DC, Ben's Chili bowl is known for its chili covered half smokes. 44th President Barak Obama and comedian Bill Cosby are the only two people on the face of the earth who eat for free when they stop by. Founded in 1958 by Ben Ali this local landmark has since seen expansion in to the revived H St Corridor and on Wilson St in Arlington VA. If you are not in the mood for a half smoke but love the atmosphere check out Ben's Next Door!
