In response to AMC LLC, I have photos from each snow storm proving otherwise. If you would like, I can post them. Yesterday the sidewalks and stairs were not cleaned off until 3:05pm. Last week the parking lot was not plowed at all when I left at 8am, and the sidewalks were also packed with snow. And no salt was put down on the stairs or the sidewalk that is sloped, so this morning and every other snow day, it is difficult gaining traction to not fall. This morning two other residents were stuck and blocking the S/W entrance/exit because the poor plowing and lack of salt/rock being placed. You are aware that there is a hill, so some extra rock and better clearing of the lot would prevent many of your residence the inconvenience of getting stuck. To those looking for a good home. My Husband and I have lived here over 9 years. We hope to stay till we can purchase a house. I have seen companies and managers come and go over our time here. I honestly love Katie and Phil (maint) over the many I have seen run this property. This is a mountain complex and to those who cant understand the property gets alot more snow and is sometimes difficult to get cleaned before 5 am then they need to just look for something in Florida or just stay away from Colorado becasue this is life in this state, there are properties around here that dont even scoop the sidewalks or stairs so you got it made here.. Phil is more than happy to get things taken care of minutes after you put in a work order (even if he is slammed) and Katie is awesome and willing to go above and beyond for her residents, If you are not happy with something or have an issue its not like she is going to ignore the problem or you think she will bite your head off or turn into some demon from hell that is not the case! Katie is great. Over time I have seen a few people that I couldnt understand even move here but they are never here long because they dont research anything nor care about were they live until they move here and then are idiotic enough to complain without even talking to anyone about the issues!!?? WTH?? Thats on you NOT BSL. This complex is wonderful, mostly quiet, clean and yes hilly so we do get icy but smart people like us notice that the property DOES provide ice melt in big barrels on the property PLAIN TO SEE!! for there Residents to use if they have a bad spot. Open your eyes because the properties around this area are cheaply taken care of and run. Blue Sky is an older property and will have issues but these two do there best to make it the best property in Lakewood!! and whoever says there are complexes around the area 500$$ less well, they are in bed bug heaven then!!

We had a hard time giving them two stars. The two stars are truly for the maintenance staff and quietness. The rest has been sub par. We were supposed to have a remodeled apartment, but it looks as if they ONLY repainted the walls. When we first moved in, the carpet was filthy, there was still food and syrup in the fridge (WE HAD TO CLEAN), the tub/shower was black with residue everywhere, and the faucet didn't work properly. We had to have the toilet fixed multiple times throughout our lease as well. Overall, the appliances were old and didn't work well, there's NO closet space whatsoever, and the washer/dryer work well but we were charged $40/mo for it (when we could have just put in our own.) The paint around the apartment was chipping off when we moved in, and the carpet was very poorly installed. We have never given a review on apartments before because we are the type of people who don't normally complain, but I would highly suggest LIVING ELSEWHERE! This apartment complex is a huge rip off, especially knowing that they raised our lease more than $200 when wanting us to renew. They will NICKEL and DIME you every chance they get. We're very happy to be leaving, and will not look back. Don't make the same mistake that we did.

I am adding in this edit because I think this management team is fantastic! They have helped me in every way that I have needed assistance. Over the weekend my hot water heater flame went out and I called maintenance at 7am on Sunday morning; someone was here not even 20 minutes later! I was shocked because I thought I would have to wait until later in the day for sure. He fixed the hot water heater in less than 15 minutes. Then I left my house for a while and when I came back the flame was out again. So, I called again and he was back less than 20 minutes later! He lit the flame again and waited for about 20 minutes to make sure that it stayed lit for me. This is just awesome service really! The management/maintenance here really is great! I promise they did not pay me to say this and I am a real tenant! :) Everything has been great! I love the open floor plan of the one-bedroom, I came from an apartment complex where all the apartments are put together like shoeboxes, lots of walls and everything was kind of institutional. Needless to say, being able to look into the living while I am in my kitchen makes me happy. The dog park (although not huge) is an awesome amenity to have for my pup, he loves that he can run around and play without his leash. The location is great! Not too far from the city but far enough to get away from all the noise; only a few blocks from Green Mountains hiking/biking trails. It makes me really happy that I do not have to get into my car to drive to go hiking anymore. The management and maintenance have been great. In all, I am very happy I moved here, seriously the last place I was at sucked! Also, in one of the other reviews someone mentioned the price of rent and utilities and it is now a cold, harsh reality in Denver and the surrounding areas that we as residents are just going to have to pay what we are asked if we want to live here. Yes, it sucks, no, it isn't cool, but this is a good apartment complex and I would rather pay the rent I am paying here for the floor plan and all the other things described above than pay this rent at the last place I was at.

I've lived at this community for over 2.5 years and have only watched it go downhill. It was taken over by a new management company, AMC LLC, which is a very shady property company. The new company brought with it more complex and expensive lease terms, tiered utility bills which are unfair and again, more expensive, and most of all, management that is extremely unprofessional and unkind. Both the previous leasing agent and current have no people skills whatsoever, and are downright condescending and rude. I had not paid rent late even one time in 2.5 years (30 months) of living here, and the property manager did little to nothing to reach out to her manager for a grace period or late fee reversal for a first time situation. I also was given the wrong number to her supervisor and have still not been able to have a conversation with management. It is an all around shady company. They also do the bare minimum for repairs to make the property look liveable, but don't take care of core problems with the buildings. The buildings are getting older and wearing out, but they have charged previous tenants, upon move out, for repairs instead of upgrading and normal maintenance. Also, prices are sky rocketing in the area, so this property is charging almost 40% more for rent than they did a year ago whilst doing nothing to maintain the property. You need to be very careful signing a lease here. You are not a resident, just a number whose pockets they will burn a hole in. Try the Americanas or other properties around the area before retreating to this property.
