Sadly there isn't an option for zero stars or absolutely hated it. First of all my experiences living here has been abysmal. I regret moving in here two years ago and i'm glad i'll be moving out next month. This apartment is ridiculously expensive even though the rooms are really crappy, everything seems to fall apart. $1,557 per month for that, get the f**k out of here. There is a serious issue with pest infestation and the apartment association rarely does anything about it. The staff here seem to be lazy and incompetent of completing even the simplest tasks, I had to wait over a week for them to fix a leak. I had a metal lining sticking up in the kitchen floor and all those people did were hammer more nails on the side but it kept sticking up, I had to keep calling them 11 times. As if dealing with terrible employees weren't enough you have to put up with their attitude. There's also always ways of robbing people of their money like those stupid f*****g laundry cards and jacking up prices for rent even though it's not even that great, I literally feel like i'm living in a soviet labor camp. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone, it's a disaster waiting to happen. Thanks for making my stay hell.
We like it here! We moved to HVA in the summer of 2014. Our experience has been mostly positive! Clean apartment and well-taken care of complex. Our service requests are addressed promptly.
There is nothing quite like slowly realizing how busted your apartment really is. We have been living in this place for little over two years, and they have still not fixed my kitchen counter, which has been slowly deteriorating since we moved in… Yet, they are very consistent in charging ever more ridiculous rent increases, and finding new ways to rip-off tenants, like jacking up the laundry room fees with silly electronic charge cards that hardly ever work. There is an serious pest control issue, from stinkbugs, to roaches and mice (even thou we keep a very clean apartment) these creatures just find their way in to our place either by taking residence in the next door walls, or ignoring any counter measures/traps put in place for them… Oh, did I mentioned that the apartment management office does NOT even accept proper electronic rent payments, and if you trust the USPS to deliver your rent check to their office on time, there is a good chance the check will mysteriously disappear once it arrives to their mailbox… But, it will take them less than 48 hours for them to server you with a legal excuse to charge an extra fee and have harassment notifications sent from the local police office. The management staff is often rude, and hardly caring of any maintenance issue you may report.
lived here for over 3 years with my mother.... Here's my view. -first, the service is slow. -second,the maintenance worker has attitude problem. one time, the worker came around 8 when i was still in sleep. he came in to the apartment. Then rudely woke me up by banging on my room door. it was very unpleasant. - Third, the most important thing is that they never fix the **** problem correctly. For example, i have leakage issue in the bathroom for over 2 years. called everytime, they never answer, this problem happens every once in a while. it is very annoying. -other wise it isnt a bad place to live.
this is the worst place to live in . very dirty and old apartments . you'll see all kinds of insects in your apt in addition to mice and their disgusting dropping every were and in all the apartments . and the agency will never respond to your complaining . I am moving soon and two of the neighbors just moved because of the mice problem . it's really unhealthy please to live especially with kids .
