This place is the worst, at first when you move in you like it because of how close it is to campus. Although the longer you live there the more you realize all management wants to do is take your money. They don't keep track of their money and tell you you forgot to pay something. The washer/dryer set is one joined unit which never works as much as you get different machines (the maintenance employees know this but management doesn't change the type of machines). Once a week you get roaches no matter how much they come in to spray the apartment. Also when it rains you get random leaks off the walls. The doors on the gates are always open this allows any random stranger to walk in and the rooms don't have unique locks to the inside of the apartment. The locks wouldn't be such a problem if you live with a friend but privacy is privacy and anyone can easily pick the locks and management is no help here. I tried asking them if I could have a personal door knob put in and I would give them a key but they still disagreed. Their "breakfast" consist of mostly granola bars and water, they are also stingy with their paper for the business center (considering most of the residents don't know how to print correctly you end up with random scans on the back of your paper or the paper is inserted incorrectly). The pool is also constantly dirty. Overall this is one of the worst places to sign a year lease at, DON'T DO IT. On a side note: if the person assisting you to sign the lease (besides the manager) doesn't live there than you probably shouldn't either.
Worse place. You will like at the first look but once you move in you will see the worse. Don't go with the advertisement. Apartment ate old. Paint may be chipped off & LED. Carpet stains & smells. There are pest: bugs.
Worst Place EVER!!! NEVER LIVE HERE!!! Google wouldnt allow me to give it 0 stars. I strongly encourage anyone considering living here to NOT!!! Worst management system ever. Living in a cardboard box would be better
I lived here for one year and out of the many apartments that I've lived in during my 4 years at the UofA it was by far the worst. Upon move in the apartment was filthy, furniture was worn out and the stove was broken. The bathroom was flooded and the roof was constantly leaking, which resulted in the entire apartment constantly being humid and muggy inside. The washer/dryer combo never worked the entire year I lived there, and they were never able to fix/ replace it. There were dead bugs in the cabinets from day 1, and a persistent roach infestation the entire time I lived there. Management is completely incompetent and unable to provide any accurate information on virtually any issue whatsoever. In addition, if you have any discrepancies at all, they will argue with you and insist that you are wrong and they are right, without even looking into the issue. Work orders take forever to be completed, and are often just left for months without being fixed. The property is very run down and disgusting, resembling that of a shady hotel in a bad part of town where crime and drugs are rampant. In regards to utilities, I never received a bill and they told me what I had to pay every month and when I finally moved out they insisted that I never payed them. So, if you do live there, ask for a bill every month or they will try to get you for money you don't owe. Friends of mine have experienced the same thing. So, a word from the wise: Live any where but here!
Price is not even worth it. Plumbing problems that makes the whole apartment stink like if you had ate the nastiest food and let some farts out. Horrible. Had my car broken into. Management doesnt care about anything but collecting rent. Roach infestations. VERY BAD APARTMENTS.
