I've lived here all of 2 weeks and the day before my furniture came,, my whole closet fell!!!! I called the emergency number and Mark told me he would be there first thing in the morning. When I got to the apartment with the movers at 9:45am on a Sunday, the closet was fixed and reinforced. Mark did an excellent job! No fuss and NO MESS! Kudos to Evaniece in the office, everything went as smoothly as planned. I live right by the park and I can't even hear the kids playing. We just love our apartment!
Eaves is a great community to live in , we moved here over an year ago and we only have positive reviews ever since . The staff at the leasing office are super friendly and helpful , the maintenance team is always there for any kind of assistance and help . Santos and Brian are the two people who always have helped us with the issues at our apartment even during the weekends , Santos is knowledgeable and prompt with his work . Brian is relatively new to the community but he knows his job and gets it done . Over all we are very happy with the community .
Have moved in last month, so I don't have any feedback on long term living here at Eaves San Jose. But the initial impression is mostly good. Location: It is located conveniently next to Cropley Light Rail Station, just a 10 minute commute to work by light rail or car. There is a gas station across the street and convenience stores, dry cleaning etc. in the lot across the street too. Community: Part of the community is gated. However, as in all other gated communities in the area, this may or may not ensure restricting unauthorized visitors because they could easily tailgate. The common areas are clean and the trash bins don't overflow. There are three pools in the community and two of them have gyms attached. However, the size of the pools is completely inadequate and they don't seem to have been cleaned. Given the drought situation in California, maintaining a pool full of water shouldn't be a top priority, though, but it would be better if they either just drained one or more completely, or maintained them in a clean state. The gyms attached to the pools are a joke - there are no free weights in either of them, and just one combo-weight-training machine in each one. For cardio, there seems to be about 4-5 treadmills and 2 stepping machines in each gym. Seems like the gym and the pools are only there to mark them off on the marketing brochures. Office Staff: Have been polite and friendly on the occasions that we have interacted with them. The online payment portal sometimes goes down, though. Maintenance: The window mesh screens in our apartment are not functioning since the day we moved in, so I will raise a maintenance request soon and experience the service levels of the maintenance staff, so no opinion on that yet.
This is our 3rd year stay at Eaves, San Jose. The apartment community is well maintained with all the necessary amenities for comfortable living. Location is perfect with VTA across the street and convenient to most tech companies and great mall. The community has gym, swimming pool and play area. Ample car parking is available for guests. Folks at the leasing office are very friendly, responsive and accommodating. The apartment maintenance requests are handled and resolved in a prompt manner by the experienced staff. Once we had issues specific to our apartment with Comcast reception and water backing, but the maintenance staff did a great job in addressing the problem quickly. Overall, we are highly satisfied with our stay here at Eaves San Jose and looking forward to staying here for longer. We would recommend Eaves San Jose to our friends.
I moved into eaves San Jose 2 years ago and had a great stay in a newly remodeled apartment. Here's the bullet points. Pros: +Excellently located, right off the 680 and a few streets away from the 880 +Office staff is excellent. Johnny at the front desk was instrumental in making the move out process as smooth as possible. +Maintenance staff is top-notch and usually fix issues within 24 hours. Shout out to Robert (who I heard left last year) and Santos +You get a garage if you live on Trade Zone (ungated community)! Cons: -Price has gone up significantly. When I moved in two years ago, rent was $2000 for a two bedroom, and now it's $2550. That's a 28% increase! All the neighbors I made friends with over the years moved due to outrageous rent increase. -When I first moved to the area, it was due to it being outside the range of the Milpitas smell. Unfortunately, with the dump yard getting expanded, it seems the smell has spread to eaves San Jose now. -Be careful living by the road as the road noise is significant. Took me a couple weeks to get used to, and would frequently woken up by road noise. Life lesson learned. -Car break ins have happened in the past, but measures have been taken to increase security. Overall, living at eaves San Jose was a great value and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a decent quality place that's well located to locations off the 680.
