I've been living here since 10/15 and I'm very happy so far. It's a very quiet complex. I feel safe here, especially since I get off work at 3am. I haven't seen anything sketchy at all. The complex is clean and I haven't seen a single pest. I love having the little back yard for the dogs. Maintenance always shows in a timely manner to fix things (which doesn't happen often thank god). My electric bill is low. Staff is always friendly. As a heads up, this place is literally across the street from TMC. You WILL hear sirens and helicopters all the time. Obviously, that's not the conplexes fault. I'm originally from NYC so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. If you're a light sleeper, this might be something you should take into consideration. All in all, I'm a happy camper and will be renewing my lease.
When signing the I didn't have a car to go to work ( @ TMC ) so I needed something within walking distance. I was offered a discount for working at the hospital, it was next to my bank, and near a grocery store. In the next week from my move in I seen my sink with roaches in it constantly, the trimming at the base of the wall wasn't put in, my bathroom light would turn on 50% of the time, my neighbors were throwing cigarettes off their balcony into my overpriced "back yard", and the neighbors dog kept getting into my back yard. As these problems came up I called and called the front desk and it was "ill put in a work order for that" and it never! happened UNLESS I called in multiple times for them to fix it. As for the roaches (which seemed to become a bigger population in such a small amount of time) I called the front desk they offered extermination, but I would have to leave with my kids and no vehicle (yes my problem, but still..) I took the bus to the zoo and came back after the four hours they advised to be out of the house... on my front door was a note that said "sorry for any inconvenience, we were not able to access your apartment, the front desk does not have a master key to fit your door. We appreciate your business, please call us to reschedule" BULLSHIT! it took two months for the fence to be fixed, the neighbors still throw their nasty cigarettes down, oh and did I mention the cat liter they added to that, it took three months for them to fix the lights in the bathroom and put trimming at the base of the walls. IM BEYOND DISGUSTED with this place RUN AWAY! .... FAR AWAY!
I lived there for a year. When something breaks expect a week of waiting time for it to be fixed. The leasing manager does not care about residents. The olace is ghetto and drug invested as well as pest unfested with mice and roaches.
you can hear everything that is coming from outside. the noise from outside keeps us up and people hangout outside yelling and talking form 11 to 3 in the morning. the people are annoying and weird. the equipment in the gym don't work. the pool looks gross and the Jacuzzi doesn't work. and there are constant water shut off for hours. I would not recommend this place to anymore. the only good thing is they are a good price.
Strangest people live in these apartments. They are very good at distracting you when showing an apartment so you don't see the many many flaws. Temporary water shut off notices on my door seems like every other day. Heating n cooling makes a loud noise that has the same rhythm as a pounding migraine.
