When signing the I didn't have a car to go to work ( @ TMC ) so I needed something within walking distance. I was offered a discount for working at the hospital, it was next to my bank, and near a grocery store. In the next week from my move in I seen my sink with roaches in it constantly, the trimming at the base of the wall wasn't put in, my bathroom light would turn on 50% of the time, my neighbors were throwing cigarettes off their balcony into my overpriced "back yard", and the neighbors dog kept getting into my back yard. As these problems came up I called and called the front desk and it was "ill put in a work order for that" and it never! happened UNLESS I called in multiple times for them to fix it. As for the roaches (which seemed to become a bigger population in such a small amount of time) I called the front desk they offered extermination, but I would have to leave with my kids and no vehicle (yes my problem, but still..) I took the bus to the zoo and came back after the four hours they advised to be out of the house... on my front door was a note that said "sorry for any inconvenience, we were not able to access your apartment, the front desk does not have a master key to fit your door. We appreciate your business, please call us to reschedule" BULLSHIT! it took two months for the fence to be fixed, the neighbors still throw their nasty cigarettes down, oh and did I mention the cat liter they added to that, it took three months for them to fix the lights in the bathroom and put trimming at the base of the walls. IM BEYOND DISGUSTED with this place RUN AWAY! .... FAR AWAY!
you can hear everything that is coming from outside. the noise from outside keeps us up and people hangout outside yelling and talking form 11 to 3 in the morning. the people are annoying and weird. the equipment in the gym don't work. the pool looks gross and the Jacuzzi doesn't work. and there are constant water shut off for hours. I would not recommend this place to anymore. the only good thing is they are a good price.
Strangest people live in these apartments. They are very good at distracting you when showing an apartment so you don't see the many many flaws. Temporary water shut off notices on my door seems like every other day. Heating n cooling makes a loud noise that has the same rhythm as a pounding migraine.
The old sayin "If it looks to good to be true, it probably is", that is what this place is. When I signed the lease, I did not sign up to have roaches so bad, they crawl in the bed with me, all over my toilet, leave egg sacs over my stove. After the exterminator came out twice and sprayed and bombed my apartment, a day later, a roach tried to crawl in my ear. I can not even keep my dishes in the cupboards. The outside is raggady. The only reason why anyone would stay here, it is next to the bank, grocery store, and the busline. The police are always here because someone is playing music too loud, drunk and can not control themselves, or there is a domestic dispute. Of course none of the people from the leasing office stay here, now I know why. I am just glad I only signed a 6 month lease, which is still too long.
Horrible place to call home. Not only is the management team incompetent but their continued lack of care for their residents is astounding. The complex also has quite a roach problem. For months I've had to 'bomb' my apartment as well as plug up every drain due to the pest problem. Otherwise, you wake up with roaches sleeping with you and making camp everywhere, including your clothes. The water is shut off virtually every week to 'fix' a leak they have. This 'leak' has been here for over a year. My next complaint would have to be towards the power supply here. The breakers equipped for each apt are as old as the building. Point being: if you run your microwave and tv at the same time, prepare for your power to shut off. I've been here for about two years due to work and am ay my wits end with the place. Take my advice, keep looking!
