There were issues before I moved in 3 years ago. 1st the unit we want wasn't available for another 2 weeks and when they show us the unit that was available. There were stain on the front door vinyl and the bathroom. Some kind of orange/yellow stain that even their maintenance crew cannot removed. They told me they will not replace that, crappy blinds that breaks all the time and spider in and outside of the house. Trees with nasty leaves fall down the balcony that you have to clean every other day. Bad odors in the closet in the all the rooms. Drawers are crappy making squeeky noises when you open them. But, I believe that no one is perfect and given people 2nd chance. I gave them too many chances to improve. Do not believe everything on the website, those rooms are just for display and model only. I was fool by their presentation, the unit they said was available wasnt' available and I already sold my home and have a set moved out date. Dog poops is still an issue around the complex, irresponsible people still let their dogs poop on the side walk and walk way gross and sick. Recently, I emotionally had a breakdown because they make me waited all morning long until noon for a carpet cleaning that suppose to be schedule in the morning. Half hour before I need to take my boys to their baseball game carpet people arrived, after 20 minutes into the praying and cleaning(a couple push around the carpet. All the stains are there, we had the carpet cleaned, but look like it wasn't clean. Before and after picture is the same, wasting my time and energy to removed things off the floor. Just a note, they also replace all their office staffs, that tells a lot about a business and your rent increase every year. I will never recommend or refer this place to anyone until Management team changes the way they treat and care for their renters. If it wasn't for my kids school and sports, I would have moved years ago. Waiting for a chance so we can get our own place.
Shit hole wldnt let my damn dog live here .... If you want to buy drugs that's your place I've had few ppl going around asking if I want to buy drugs nobody likes it everyone is moving out heater works half the time ac never worked dishwasher never worked ..then raised the rent because they got sued for having mildew in apartments ..
Worst experience ever! My boyfriend and I applied for the apartments at the beginning of this month. We worked with Nicole and after a week and a half we were told that we were approved and was sent our welcome package via email on 12/15 and our scheduled move in date would be 12/30. On 12/27 my boyfriend did the walk through of the apartment and was handed the checklist for all the utilities that needed to be turned on. On 12/29 Nicole calls my boyfriend at 5 pm to say that they need some more pay stubs. So then on move in day my boyfriend goes to give them the info they were requesting and to sign the lease and get the key. Their manager Katherine informs him that we actually do not qualify because they will not count the commissions that we receive on our pay stubs and that we would not be moving in! They have had over two weeks to say that we weren't approved and yet they waited until our scheduled move in date to let us know. I was moving out my current apartment that day and had to be out that day. Terrible service, will never recommend to anyone. I have tried to get a hold of the manager and she will not return my calls.
I've been here a year; came from an apartment in San Bruno that was incredibly expensive. I wasn't satisfied with my experience in San Bruno. When I came here I was happy because it was quiet, peaceful, cheaper, had better storage, accessible to the peninsula and warmer than where I came from. My commutes a bit longer, but it's worth it for the time-being. I will note one huge distinction...the people. On the peninsula the people are fairly suburban and boring, which is expected (other than the city); over here they complain a lot, get in to arguments way too frequently and many don't respect property or have manners. This can be seen in how they crowd the gates at night or how they broke the gate many times. While I don't think the Bridge is a perfect apartment ( as they do take a bit longer than usual on fixing things), I think it's biggest problem is it's people; but really that's a Hayward problem. As far as I'm concerned if you just live here and ignore the riff-raff, you'll enjoy your stay.
absolutely horrible to live here; wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to rent from the bridge apartments. Management does not care for its tenants, no parking for visitors and or second roommate, no motorcycle parking, no cleaning is done in front of apartments (I've been here for almost 2 years), weight room always has broken machines, laundry room has very few hours to use and always has broken machines, gate is constantly broken, roommates work truck was stolen, very high crime rate (at least once a week you come home to 5 cops in the apartment complex), security is a joke, cable is only in living room, Comcast restriction only, and the list could go on. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE.
