There is a saying, don't judge a book by its cover. Well, The Bridge cover (Floor plan/show room) is impressive. Do you really think you will get what they show you. 3 years has gone by and things are getting worse around here. Imagine a quick turn over from renter and their management team. Oh hell break loose, The Bridge will collapse. Wait until another brand new complex is build, this place will go down hill. These shouldn't have been my problems, but they make it mine now. I take care of their place, but they are not taking care of me. Instead, they are causing me stress and headache after a long day of work. Here are some issues I encounter since I lived here 2.5 years ago. 1. Recently, their African American staff decided that it is ok to let the apartment burn down, then to send a maintenance personal over to turn off something that can possibly cause a fire. 2. All my kids notice the way they waste water. So, we're in a drought and they water their dead lawn at least twice a week. Sunday and Wednesday or Thursday, I think and start at 10:30-11pm. I picture to prove that they didn't just water their dead trees and grass. They water the cement and path way and street as well. So much water wasted every time their sprinkler goes on. If they have security 24/7 and full office staff. Why isn't anyone notice this behavior of not caring about anybody or anything that goes on around them. When my 1st grader even acknowledge this. 3. We schedule a carpet cleaning after renewing our lease for another year. Our appointment was at 10 am and nobody show up. I came to the office at 10:30 or 11 to tell them. Another new staff told me that our schedule wasn't for 10, instead is a almost all day window. Who in the hell would want to schedule anything that they have to sit around all day waiting. The most is 3-4 hours window, so Ms. Katherine in the office isn't smart as a manager to schedule something like this. They finally show up 3 hours later and did a 15-20 mins, and this includes set up, spray. I am not kidding those boys take less than 5 minutes to clean 3 rooms. Carpet still dirty after the clean. What a waste of my time and energy. I cried in their office because I was upset since my son have a game to be in the next hour. 3. They have kids playing in the bbq area everything crying, creaming, trashing in front of our complex. Dog poops, people smoking weeds. Spider/spider webs all over their complex and carport. I had spider spray before, but this time around the person that spray it sprayed right on my orchids which I display on a rack. I think I experience enough from being a renter and I can't wait to get our of this place. No matter how many times you tell them, things doesn't change. So I try to live a normal life and so so tired of telling people who refuses to listen. Hopeless is the word.
The apartment says pet friendly but they have a breed restriction list and my husky was on that list. Out of all dogs husky are family dogs and gentle. In my opinion this breed restriction list is discrimination against dogs. I guess I won't be applying for residence here.
The service here is 100% percent trash they recently changed security companies and it shows. Catherine Behringer is Trash as a property manager. My cuzzin bought a new car he had it in his stall that he pays 1700 a month for and they towed car no warning nothing. Very unusual property procedures renters and leaser be ware high rent an sub par service... You would have to be stupid to live in a place that treats the residents the way they do....
Worst experience ever! My boyfriend and I applied for the apartments at the beginning of this month. We worked with Nicole and after a week and a half we were told that we were approved and was sent our welcome package via email on 12/15 and our scheduled move in date would be 12/30. On 12/27 my boyfriend did the walk through of the apartment and was handed the checklist for all the utilities that needed to be turned on. On 12/29 Nicole calls my boyfriend at 5 pm to say that they need some more pay stubs. So then on move in day my boyfriend goes to give them the info they were requesting and to sign the lease and get the key. Their manager Katherine informs him that we actually do not qualify because they will not count the commissions that we receive on our pay stubs and that we would not be moving in! They have had over two weeks to say that we weren't approved and yet they waited until our scheduled move in date to let us know. I was moving out my current apartment that day and had to be out that day. Terrible service, will never recommend to anyone. I have tried to get a hold of the manager and she will not return my calls.
I've been here a year; came from an apartment in San Bruno that was incredibly expensive. I wasn't satisfied with my experience in San Bruno. When I came here I was happy because it was quiet, peaceful, cheaper, had better storage, accessible to the peninsula and warmer than where I came from. My commutes a bit longer, but it's worth it for the time-being. I will note one huge distinction...the people. On the peninsula the people are fairly suburban and boring, which is expected (other than the city); over here they complain a lot, get in to arguments way too frequently and many don't respect property or have manners. This can be seen in how they crowd the gates at night or how they broke the gate many times. While I don't think the Bridge is a perfect apartment ( as they do take a bit longer than usual on fixing things), I think it's biggest problem is it's people; but really that's a Hayward problem. As far as I'm concerned if you just live here and ignore the riff-raff, you'll enjoy your stay.
