Worst experience ever! My boyfriend and I applied for the apartments at the beginning of this month. We worked with Nicole and after a week and a half we were told that we were approved and was sent our welcome package via email on 12/15 and our scheduled move in date would be 12/30. On 12/27 my boyfriend did the walk through of the apartment and was handed the checklist for all the utilities that needed to be turned on. On 12/29 Nicole calls my boyfriend at 5 pm to say that they need some more pay stubs. So then on move in day my boyfriend goes to give them the info they were requesting and to sign the lease and get the key. Their manager Katherine informs him that we actually do not qualify because they will not count the commissions that we receive on our pay stubs and that we would not be moving in! They have had over two weeks to say that we weren't approved and yet they waited until our scheduled move in date to let us know. I was moving out my current apartment that day and had to be out that day. Terrible service, will never recommend to anyone. I have tried to get a hold of the manager and she will not return my calls.
absolutely horrible to live here; wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to rent from the bridge apartments. Management does not care for its tenants, no parking for visitors and or second roommate, no motorcycle parking, no cleaning is done in front of apartments (I've been here for almost 2 years), weight room always has broken machines, laundry room has very few hours to use and always has broken machines, gate is constantly broken, roommates work truck was stolen, very high crime rate (at least once a week you come home to 5 cops in the apartment complex), security is a joke, cable is only in living room, Comcast restriction only, and the list could go on. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE.
I've been here a year; came from an apartment in San Bruno that was incredibly expensive. I wasn't satisfied with my experience in San Bruno. When I came here I was happy because it was quiet, peaceful, cheaper, had better storage, accessible to the peninsula and warmer than where I came from. My commutes a bit longer, but it's worth it for the time-being. I will note one huge distinction...the people. On the peninsula the people are fairly suburban and boring, which is expected (other than the city); over here they complain a lot, get in to arguments way too frequently and many don't respect property or have manners. This can be seen in how they crowd the gates at night or how they broke the gate many times. While I don't think the Bridge is a perfect apartment ( as they do take a bit longer than usual on fixing things), I think it's biggest problem is it's people; but really that's a Hayward problem. As far as I'm concerned if you just live here and ignore the riff-raff, you'll enjoy your stay.
People have to understand that this place is huge the office try's to accommodate each apt as fast as they can. The apt itself are nice and quiet at least where I live the parking could be better but you are given parking spot so if you have more then 1 car you do have to search for parking. The maintenance is quick and all the bad reviews the Bridge is getting is not right. The grounds are kept up well so I do not know where these people that are writing bad reviews live I have been around this whole area and its always neet and clean. So not sure what the bad reviews are about when it comes to the grounds being dirty. I have never seen this place dirty its always kept up the grass is always cut the flowers are blooming and I have not had any problems with this place.
the apartment is nothing like they showed us with in a month everything was braking the security sucks the gates always broke and they are way over priced and getto as heck especially for 1800 for a two bedroom wouldnt recommend it
