We have been here for almost 9 months now, are in an upstairs apartment, and have had no problems. All issues with the apartment have been fixed within a day or two. Depending on where your apartment is located, it is sometimes difficult to find guest parking near you, but that's really our only complaint. We are looking around passively, but are pretty certain we will be upgrading to a larger apartment in a few months as we honestly haven't found one as good as this. It is quiet and gated, the office staff is friendly and the maintenance is prompt.

Now looking forward to my lease expiring in a few months so I can leave. Maintenance on the place has really declined in the last few years (having lived here almost 4 years now). Latest management seems intent only on making sure there is no accountability for the maintenance personnel. Our last straw was needing the garbage disposal replaced a few months ago once it finally died. After 4 weeks of waiting, I went and asked the office manager where the new unit was (the apartment was starting to smell from our not being able to use the old, broken unit). She called back the next day saying it would be in the following day and she would make sure it was put into our unit immediately. In the afternoon, my wife called and said the new garbage disposal was put in our apartment and that I would enjoy it so much once I got home from work. When I got home, I see what she meant: maintenance had indeed finally gotten the new garbage disposal (a refurbished unit, blechh) and had put it into our apartment; it was still in the box sitting on the counter. Knowing from the past the absolutely poor job maintenance at the apartments have been, I decided to not even bother complaining again as it had already taken them almost 5 weeks to just get the new disposer to us. I just gave up and installed it myself, deciding then and there we would move once our lease was up. I would not recommend moving to Estancia. The maintenance personnel is horrible, the management works only to cover for them, and the place is visibly declining throughout from it.

A staff that really cares! Well taken care of units! Estancia translates to STAY! And I think we will! Thanks to a great group! And terrific neighbors!

Save yourself some time, trouble, and a waste of money. I've lived here for 3 years and until recently was very happy with the staff, management, and neighbors. Then the manager, Art, left to another complex. The woman they brought in to replace him is self absorbed, inconsiderate, rude and unprofessional. She does not even try to be respectful. She would rather talk to her girlfriends on the phone and ignore residents than do her job. I miss Art, but cannot wait until my lease is up so I can run for the hills. This complex is going downhill so fast I do not think they could stop it at this point.

Pros: Gated, gym, heated and non heated pool, some complexes have washer and dryer, pet friendly, undercover parking, managers seem to know what they're doing, small patio with storage room. Cons: key to mailbox doesn't work, a bit confusing at first to maneuver around the area, laundry room looks a little dated, living room has no light bulb, a bit of a drive to almost anywhere, gym has no free weights.
