If you don't take any one advice, i'm literally begging you to take mines....I'm not the type of person that either care to look at reviews neither the type to complain, But as of this moment my patience has run out with Seton Park apartments and I would never ever deal with Maryland Management properties again, just because of the experience here. Now why am I so upset well they have a good way of pulling people in, nice advertisement and good deals but then a month in so in you realize you've been tricked.....the dishwasher don't drain all the water after it's been ran so it leaves a funny smell, not only that the pipes connected to the dishwasher wasn't properly connected to the sink so on top of the garbage disposal filter not being replaced we had to deal with a plumber to come in and cut a hole in the wall because the pipe was connect to the pipe going into my neighbors just to fix the pipe coming from the dishwasher, not to mention that the dishwasher still doesn't drain right. Now let's talk about the stove, the maintenance mean literally use wall paint to cover the rust of the stove because its old, maybe they did it or maybe they get their appliances from a corner furniture store, who knows all I know is wall paint shouldn't be coming off of your stove when you clean it, let's not forget the light bulb cuts in and out when it wants on the microwave or how about the freezer would leak into the fridge area because it was something wrong with thermometer or filter their also, let's talk about the constant smell of gas where we called the fire men multiple times, both I and my neighbor and all times the fire department said they smelled it, but yet the maintenance man didn't smell anything and didn't care to investigate in spite of all 10 people smelling it, it's an old place I get it but the draft in the living room was so bad that we had to blast the heat to stay warm which added another 250 to my electric bill, and the maintenance men also told us that in order for the heat to come on we had to blast it.....?????????......something to do with the pump system they have smh because come to think about it the heat really didn't come on at 75 degrees, then they tell us the week before we move out that they are replacing the blinds, they do it every year but then we find out they charging us 50 dollars to change blinds that we won't be using, not to mention they only changed the living room blinds. For the kicker we are ready to move out, got approved for another apartment and everything but they cannot accept money from us unless they get the paper work from Seton Park but Seton Park have that oh so famous line "oh we can't do anything corporate does that" but yet they never give us corporate number or anything, I had to hunt the number and address down because she kept giving me the number to another apartment complex or saying I'll call you back....so avoid maryland management
Poor management resulting in everything else to go downhill. This complex had two managers over the past year both do not handle problems. No parking, kids vandalize cars and bang open mail boxes, neighbors ghetto and ratchet, trash overflows and mice is a problem, Falsely advertise amenities. Upon moving in I was suppose to have a storage unit, management was aware and notified several times yet still no result. This place is terrible. Will never be a resident of Maryland Management ever again. If I have any feedback regarding my issues i will be sure to follow up.
If you are looking for studio size apartment that is separated into two bedrooms this is the place for you. My husband and I was looking for a small place to finish pay off wedding before moving onto better things. There is not room for a dining and living room set so you will have to decide which you prefer. The closet space is about 4 ft wide, made with plastic shelving and railing. The foundation is a little unstable. My neighbor above often made our walls shake and evenly made a long crack along the wall (still not complaining) On the third day after moving in, $100 came up missing from my husband draw (he should have known better) after having work done by a maintenance man. We reported it but no one took us seriously. There was no evidence of forced entry. We informed the police. Turns out the officer that investigated the incident makes several "personal" visits to a staff member in leasing office. Police didn't take the matter seriously since we are close to Rogers Ave and criminal activity is common on that side of Liberty Road. We ended up installing a security alarm to protect ourselves from staff. They once entered the premises after installation despite asking several times to notify us prior. Again, it not that we couldn't afford somewhere better but we wanted the first year of marriage to be easy so we can have a great future. We move next week :) It was an experience I wish we didn't have to go through but it makes you appreciate the better things. Pray before you make your decision.
Its ok looks good Inside but the apartment is way to small
staff is great and responds to problems/inquiries quickly. clean neighborhood. sad to leave.
