I have lived here since 2008 and it has improved a lot. They are always trying to make the place look nice...at least in my valley meadow ct apt. I love the birds and trees that make it like a country setting. The kids are very noisy but I like kids and it doesn't bother me in less it is late at night in the building. I don't like the cost of every little thing added like trash , fees, pet fee and a deposit, sewer , gas and water. Other places provide the free pool, trash, water, storage, sewer. All you pay is the gas and electric. They have taken our requests to lower the pool fee so that was great. Before arriving here, I lived in a place where the rent went up by 100 a year...so I think this place really is the best. If you have any issues please contact brandy at the maintenance dept and she will get it taken care of .
I currently live in Chartley and I think it is a good place to live. If you have a car it is even better though public transportation runs here because it is so far into the county it adds an extra 30 mins. Nevertheless, Chartley is clean, safe, and convenient. The rent is not too bad (although check your bill for consistency because charges will appear and make sure you listen during the lease signing.) This is kind of the ghetto of the county but it is still comfortable. It just seems that way because of all the of the other lavish houses nearby. I have NEVER had a bug or mouse problem. The only problem I have is that I THINK the leasing office stereotyped me. In a good way (it could be bad for others). Here's why. I have been to an apartment two buildings over from mine, it was really bad. I went to another that is connected to mine is it wasn't the same either (This was after I had already moved into my unit). I think they look at the type of person they think you are and place you (or show you vacancies) according to what they think you should have. So be persistent in seeing multiple apartments. The management is friendly but they made me uncomfortable by gossiping to me about other neighbors. :( Overall though, I have had an overwhelmingly good experience here.
Very kind staff. The apartments looked nice, just a little bit dated. For a development across the street for less money and newer apartments.
Its a good place to live. I live in the townhomes. Maybe I lucked up and moved into a good court. The management on the other hand, SMH! They are lazy and dont do their jobs correctly. I always pay my rent ontime and someone from the office calls me saying I didnt pay my rent then they check it and say sorry nevermind it was a mistake. When you call maintenance to have them do something they take forever. I've been calling about an issue and they never come. I will be moving away from here this month. I pay too much money in rent to be treated like this.
The management is horrible. They are very rude. Especially Savannah. I reported about the plumbing problems one month ago but they didn't do anything until now. When I called them Savannah said this is not her job and adviced me to call to their maintenance guys myself.
