I would NOT live in these apartments again even if they were the last living residence on the planet. This place is owned and managed by exaggerators, thieves, and scam artists. Even down to the maintenance and cleaning crew; they are all unscrupulous and will say do anything to keep your hard earned money in the end. Not only does it take forever to get a maintenance to fulfill a request but when he came he walked on my clean carpet with his dirty boots, smoked a cigarette while working on my sink and threw the cigarette bud in the toilet. On top of that, he did not even have the audacity to flush it down! This was my first apartment when I moved to Cincinnati,OH and it was by far the worst living experience I have ever had and I have lived a few different places with no problems at all. The apartments are extremely too tiny for the price they charge. You give them the benefit of the doubt because you think you are in a good area but the HELL you will go through when you move out DOES NOT make it worth it. You are right by the roadside so you constantly hear the traffic speeding by on a somewhat busy road. The installments in the apartment(cabinets, tub, stove, refrigerator, window) are ALL out of date and easily dirty or damaged, all of which YOU will charged for to restore upon move out. The bathroom is cramped and there is no air ventilation. If you have allergies steer clear because when the winter comes you will be in trouble. When I asked the owner about this he told me to open a window, even when I told him it was 20 degrees outside. They have to compassion, heart, or respect for the tenants. They assume no responsibility for normal wear and tear. The buildings have not been renovated nor have the appliances in some apartments been update so they will blame you when normal wear and tear is visible. You will not even be able to afford the cleaning charges after the fact because they charge $37.50 a hour for the apartment to be cleaned. I have bachelors degree and my hourly rate is nothing near to what they claim they pay their cleaning crew per hour. They also will charge you for mop, bucket, scrubber, and even gas for their men to run to home depot all of which are normally overhead charges for respectable businesses who are looking to rob your hard earned dollar. These people will do anything just to rip you off! If it took them 5 hours to clean your apartment they will charge you for 10. They will even charge you when they clean the door nobs which are already cleaned and even if you maintain the carpet perfectly they will still have it steam cleaned on your dime, $95 when they own the machine to do it themselves for just 2 small rooms. They will use words to describe the aftermath of your apartment, such as FILTHY and GROSS, just as an excuse to keep your ENTIRE deposit. Its a shame that they are more concerned in charging old tenants to renovate an out of date apartment that is their responsibility rather than be accountable so that in the future tenants can return. It is poor business. Please learn from my mistake and avoid living in any apartments ran by Leeseburg Management. I hope this review helps somebody out there. I for one cannot wait to get out of law school and purchase my house because of this horrible experience but for now I’ll rely on karma, God never liked ugly.
