I think that this is a great place to live! It is perfect for a student at UNCW because you can walk to your classes and the library. You feel as though you are part of campus life, but you have your own space to return to after classes. I enjoy the space, it is large enough for one or two people to live comfortably, and parking is never a problem for me and there are always plenty of visitor spaces available. Personally, the fact that they offer furnished apartments is what I really enjoy the most! What is also really great is that there are always people ready to help you when you need it and they are always friendly! I am happy I chose to live here while I am going to UNCW.
The Apartment is great, but at times the office seems unorganized. In a 3 bedroom with 3 baths, it is beautiful! The front desk people are nice, however upper management can be unorganized and rude. Perhaps with more time management will get more of a handle on things.
I've lived here for approximately a month and my experience has been great so far. The staff is kind and attentive, the amenities are clean and plentiful, and the neighborhood is quiet. The units are small, but they're plenty large enough for a single student or a couple.
Now that I am finally not a resident anymore I can review this place. I was treated horrible! They did renovations while I was a resident, left my apartment in shambles for half-assed renovations, left me in my room with so much dust and construction that I had to use my shower with flip flops on. Construction workers left doors unlocked, never covered or replaced carpet and left trash behind every single day. Renovations aside, puke was in my hallway never cleaned up from the office, when I was fed up enough I went outside and cleaned it with hot buckets of water. I was not going to even bother with a review until a month after I left they decided to try and charge me bogus charges AFTER I spent whole day cleaning and was told NOT TO PAINT! Then I get paint & cleaning charges, luckily I was able to get them dropped! Honestly, Wilmington is a WONDERFUL place and UNCW and CFCC are amazing schools but rent somewhere else, you will be doing yourself a favor.
There were serious communication problems between when I signed for my lease and when I could move in. They also put me in an apartment that someone else was living in at the time and I walked in. The office had moved me and didn't tell me until AFTER they gave me all the forms, the key, and I walked into that apartment. Horrible first apartment expierence. I also did have access to any of the amities until September. They ran out of keys and had issues getting more. The apartment is also not up to date. Campus Walk 1 is clean, nice, and is more up to date than Campus Walk 2.
