My brother and his girlfriend are moving out as we speak. They will bully you. Make sure to read everything thoroughly. We asked the front ladies questions and they had no idea what was going on! We know it isn't their job but it is assumed that they will at least have some knowledge about the place. Not only that but when Valerie was called she refused to answer because it was her "day off". Cockroaches everywhere. They were blamed for mold and a leaking toilet. Now we have to wait until Monday to speak to Valerie because she refused to speak to us over the phone. Hate it. I wish there was a zero because this complex deserves it!
If you can avoid this place , do it!!! This should be your very LAST OPTION ! And I mean LAST! Unless you love throwing away money and dealing with rude staff who would rather stuff their fat faces than help you !!!. All the reviews about this place are right •roaches • horrible, ghetto, rude staff • bed bugs • fines for everything • 15$ a month for parking • 15$ a month for renters insurance (have your own? Is it cheaper and better? They don't care ! They bill you for theirs, no matter what! ) •forget something outside? Don't worry you'll get a "notice" if you do it again they'll charge you $50 for every item every time... Stroller? Yep. trash? Yep. 50$ a trash bag • they repave the road, not tell you or give you any kind of notice so if you need to go to work , your screwed . • they close down the laundry rooms at random , nope no notice for that either. • 16 washers , 2 laundry rooms. 6 work! • laundry room smells like urine • laundry room does not cleaned by staff so that means it's gross all the time . • if you have a problem the manager will talk down to you and not help at all . The fat one is the nicest one but she has no Idea about anything . • you can be sure to see that the staff will innaporiately talk and flirt In front of your nieces while they were trying to ask a question about a ball getting stuck in a tree and get told to buzz off . • do you have little kids? Perfect the pool door is left open all the time! Arryo vista staff wants to make sure all the kids are able to drown 24/7 . • there is a "store" ran illegally here that the staff goes too, does this lady have a business license? Nope! Has she gotten inspected by the health inspector? No! • does the smell of weed bother you? Does smelling it all day everyday bother you? When you have little ones , it might . But arryo vista don't care! • arryo vista wants to make sure your laundry is stolen! They make sure their laundry room is always unlocked! • have issues with roaches or bed bugs? Don't worry they'll call out a regular guy to come out to your home to spray some water ! This place is literally hell , I haven't talked to anyone who likes it here , everyone agrees that the fat one in the Jetta will lure you in by telling you non sense and then you have to deal with the troll in the back . If only I could rate this place a -5 stars
The cows in the office are rude af and have no people skills. washers are always out of order. they shut off the water all day without notice. This shouldn't be arroyo vista it should be renamed roach motel bc that's what your moving into . Everyone in this complex is infested with roaches and bed bugs. We will have to throw out our furniture when we leave bc the bugs are everywhere.
I don't recommend this apartment to no one we stay there for a couple of months service was bad neighborhood was mean cuz we have two babies and they cry and the people that are next door gets mad and one day a man that work there just open the door of our apartment and when in know I was there.... And now they send us to the agency collection they're charging us $2,487.67 cuz we didn't complete the 12 months of staying there 😡 this apartment is just a piss of 💩 don't go there look for better apartments out there.
UPDATE I moved out after having to deal with the inconvenience of a member of the staff living downstairs from me and decided it was time to bigger better things. PAY ATTENTION TO THE FINE PRINT. This is where they try to mess you up when you move out. DON'T DO AUTOPAY FOR YOUR RENT. They will take until they can't take anymore then charge you for it. I gave my 60 day notice and paid all fees before I moved out. I handed in my keys on Monday 5/4/15 but I told them I have not done my walk through yet and I'm not comfortable handing them in until then. Marla told me that if I don't hand in my keys then I will be charged rent for each day I have them. I spoke with Valerie who said, and I quote, "The maintenance man isn't here to do the walkthrough, he will be here on Wednesday and I will have him do it and I will give you a call if there is anything that needs to be addressed and give you the chance to fix it." If you're reading that and saying that's BS, you would be correct. I never received a call back from anyone on staff. Next thing I know, R2 is coming after me for $416 in charges one of them being con service which had been already deducted from my account because I had auto payment with them, one being to replace the carpet claiming they credited my lease obligated professional carpet clean, Funny thing is I don't see that credit on my ledger, and a chargeback fee because they decided to automatically take the full rent amount out of my bank account when I didn't live there anymore rather than taking out the pro rated amount. R2's letter says that Arroyo Vista should have already contacted you to settle this debt before it went to them.....it didn't. Blake with R2 told me "I'm not too familiar with the account so you should contact the financial manager there and speak to them" I called and ask to speak to Nubia or Valerie, get put on hold for a few minutes, Marla tells me "Nubia is a bit busy right now, but she told me to tell you a payment we received bounced" which was the rent that I wasn't obligated to pay SINCE I NO LONGER LIVED THERE, and after back and forth arguing I hear Valerie in the background coaching Marla on what to say. So Marla says,"Once they (R2) have it, it's out of our hands, call them again." Myself and another I know have been dealing with suspicious charges when they moved out and ended up in collections. I lived there for 2.5 years, was never late on my rent, and rarely had any issues, you would think they would have extended just a bit more courtesy on my move out and at least done my walk through. And the amount they had been taking from me every month was more than the rent and fees listed on my lease. I was charged about $10 more every month for 2 years. I fully intend on fighting this tooth and nail and expect to receive credit where credit is due. I'm always willing to pay what I owe, but I will not be taken advantage of. Make sure you get every little thing they tell you in writing or I promise you, you will regret it. Pay very close attention to your charges every month and be ready to go through the ringer when you move out. Also be careful in the neighborhood, my car was stolen and so was my neighbor's from right in front of our homes. So while I was living there I didn't have many problems until the end, the move out really showed what kind of company they are.
