I lived at Park Crescent for 5 years in a basement apartment. From the beginning the apartment had a mold and mildew problem, when I called bout it the maintenance guy came and sprayed something to cover it up. I cleaned and cleaned up the mold monthly and it kept coming back. I also had to use moisture absorbents to keep the moisture down. It was so much moisture that it ruined some of my clothes and furniture. When I complained about the moisture the maintenance crew gave us a dehumidifier but only left it temporarily. The other problem was that when I opened my living room window dirt from the mulch fell into my apartment and there was dirt along the window that had to be cleaned up often. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were outdated and falling apart, although I was promised an updated apartment. After I lived there for that long I began to dislike the floor plan, the kitchen being the hallway to the bathroom and bedrooms in the 2 bedroom was not ideal. Park Crescent keeps their landscapes very pristine and the management office team is very nice. My advice if you move here is to not take a basement apartment.
I have been in this place for one year. Catherine at leasing office she is really nice until she gets lease signed. 3 worst main things in this apartment. 1. u hear neighbors really good everything, luckily I was on 3rd floor so voice from downstairs and from the sides. 2. they put carpet on top of the old wooden floor so a lot office noise and neighbors downstairs will complain you to not to walk. 3. AC main unit will be in your living room so everytime when u turned on it is really loud. Final thing is most people in the building unemployed and on the drugs, u can smell it al the in hallways. Thats it hope it will help to your decision.
Currently live there as a college student. Management (KATHLEEN) is the most disrespectful and uneducated woman I have ever met in my entire life. Every kind of money transaction is needed as a money order and they give you an attitude when something needs to be fixed. Charged me a $100 late fee when I was away on vacation and mailed them a check for my apartment. Never missed a payment and the still charged me $100 which as a college student can break a budget. The apartment complex is maintained well however I would never ever want to give my money order to the same complex again due to the lack of integrity they represent. I really wouldn't mind renewing my lease here if management was actually professional and displayed some aspect of integrity and honesty. There are much better options out there. UPDATE: AFTER I POSTED THIS REVIEW I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE APARTMENT COMPLEX SAYING I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO RENEW MY LEASE. My roommate and I laughed and said why would we? However, this is immature and I should be able to post a HONEST review without receiving letters like that. Please everyone think about what I said before choosing to rent with this complex.
