This place is just the pits , the people that work here act like you are bothering when walk in and ask a question , the maintaince act like your stupid when they show you what's wrong , the noise is a big factor they just want to fill spaces so they move a family of three in a one bedroom, the bathroom leaks from the hot stairs apt into my bathroom. Please don't rent from here you will me highly disappointed and will be rushing and waiting for your lease there's plenty of new places for the same amount of money . No matter how much you fix up this dump you can't paint a painting and tell me it's a Picasso ...

I don't recommend anyone living here. I've lived here for about 6 months, and about half way through I had my car broken into twice. The car window is just as expensive as what little they stole. Not worth the loot. Like some of the previous reviewers have said, the office staff could care less, they tell us that there is a security camera and a person patrolling the parking lots throughout the evening. I have not seen any of that. I made police reports and I still see nothing has changed. I don't feel safe here, so if you value your safety and your property look else where. I am leaving this place, it's eaten up quite a bit of my savings, but to have some extra comfort in knowing my valuables (my car) are safe I wouldn't mind paying extra. The staff including the maintenance people are what you pay for, unfriendly with a bad attitude.

This is the worst place ever, I never recommend it to anyone so expensive for nothing and it's not that near to university campus it still need a car. I thank god that next month is the last one in my lease , I was really dumb to sign a 1 year lease. Some but not all of the bad things is this place: 1- buildings sooo damn old and in a very bad status , you hear your neighbors as you live with them and I'm a lucky one bcoz the neighbors upstairs very active 24 hour of jumping not walking , complained millions of times to the god damn very polite !!! Customer service no even an apologize 2- if you need to fix something at your cave , I mean apartment you need to plan it 1 month before with at least 2 visits to the leasing office and minimum 3 phone calls even if it's really serious thing like water leak in the walls 3- maintenance guys , omg soooo rude If you call to complain nothing will happen , just keep leaving voice mails and good luck with that , if you call after hours good luck with that as well . I never seen in this country anyone work as a customer service or any contact with people and so rude like that when you call you will hear " I can't do anything unless leave the dead office a message " After all that people you pay $635 a month Which you can just add $100 and get a whole house in a nice neighborhood not a cave and that's what I did. In general never ever even think about this complex you will feel that they give you apartment and they pay it for you. I lived there for a year and give them 0% and if I can and it's legal to sue them I will. Good luck guys

We have lived here for 4 months. In the 4 months there have been 5 occurrences of break ins in the parking lots. 2 of which have happened in less than a week. My girlfriends car has now been broken into twice in less than a week and 12 other cars were broken into on the previous occurrence. When office management was confronted about security they stated that they believe that what they have in place was good enough, which is "a maintenance man drives around the lot periodically through out the night." Although nobody at the complex has ever seen this man doing his rounds. District 5 police have also said that it is happening too much so they are not going to come out and investigate. If you are looking for an apartment in Clifton look elsewhere. IT IS NOT SAFE HERE AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP PREVENT.

I would never recommend this apartment complex. Actually I don’t think I would recommend CMC properties since this is my 2nd one and neither were any good. I even called the district manager of CMC properties in Cincinnati, sent him an email and he didn’t have the professionalism to return the call or reply to the email. What kind of customer service is that! Clifton Colony does not act in a timely manner to meet requests that are important to the customers. For example when I first moved in and I vacuumed my bathroom floor the tiles came up. I told the management, someone came out and then they never came back. See pictures attached…I ended up fixing the floor myself so I would not cut my feet. Recently there has been a person held up at gun point, car broken into, drug traffic in my building and my storage unit lock was torched. This is inside of a “secured” building so either a person living there or an employee torched the lock. Mgt did not show any remorse really any concern that this happended. What if the building burnt down. The management will smile and say blah blah blah but they do nothing. They think the property looks nice, well they do not walk the property. There is trash that has been in the same spot for 4 months now, broken glass, tree limbs down, trees that needs trimmed because they block the view of driving, hit the car when parking etc. I asked them about this they truly are oblivious to it. Tree limbs hanging over in the pool area where it will hit you in the face. Very simple tasks can be taken to make this place look much better but they just don’t do it nor take any simple suggestions. They actually take the limbs that fall from storms and push them over the fence in a back corner which is making the area look very unpleasant. Oh and the fence are they put it in is not their property. They are cheap! Dispose the limbs, trimmings properly. Hirer some real employees and hold them accountable to do their JOB! Pick up the trash get off your butt and actually walk the property and pick up the broken crap laying all over.
