I have been a resident for 3 years at the domain brewers hill and every year has gotten progressively worse. The fire alarm goes off for no reason at all hours of the day, I would say on average 2-3 times a month. It has gotten so bad that most residents do not even go outside anymore. Every weekend the trash shoot backs all the way up to the fifth floor and there is always garbage in the hallways by the end of the weekend. The staff would like to blame this on residents, but the problem is their trash containers are too small and the trash isn't picked up enough. The walls are very thin and you can hear any movement from your neighbors. The elevators and garage doors are consistently broken. The staff is always turning over, it seems they can't keep anyone working here. Overall, there are many other options in the area and even if you have to pay a little more it will be worth it. DO NOT LIVE HERE
Started off on a sour note because the Leasing Office was not very helpful on move in day. Our move in was tough because there was no reserved elevator and we had to share with other residents. But I have to say, now I really love living in this building. It is quiet, well maintained, plenty of parking, professional renters, beautifully designed apartment, lots of wonderful resources (dining, fitness club, coffee/dessert shops) in walking distance. The area around the Domain scared me at first, being new to urban living, but it's actually safe and a fun area. The leasing staff has warmed up too lately and providing much better service. I am happy to live here and I find it a great value compared to other apartment rentals in the downtown area. We live in a two bedroom and the interior layout is very well designed and spacious. It has humungous walk in closets too. Courtyard view is limiting but very serene. Go for it!
They wow you upfront with a friendly salesperson, a beautiful lobby. Once you sign its all downhill. Trash overflowing and not removed on weekends. Staff treats you with no respect. Dog crap everywhere. Building flooded and all they did was dry carpets and walls with fans. Building smells like mold and mildew on hot or humid days from the flood. Absolutely disgusting for a "luxury apartment". I had the property manager quote when during our last month of lease and had complaints and concerns she said "We already have a signed lease and your money, tough luck" what a joke of a place
worst place to live. don't do it.
Beautiful and spacious living. I regret moving away. Friendly accommodating staff and clean premises. Great community to live in!
