One of the Best Apartment location. Easy highway access, feet away from park, directly across the street from Fire department, local stores, restaurants within feet, banks, It's fully gated, enough parking space, nice landscape, pool is nice, quite, pet friendly, and etc.
I did not enjoy anything about the apartments. Out of the two years I was there. I had a roach infestation so much so that it spread to the rest of the building and four different tennants including myself left. The bugs were in the clock of the oven! The water bill was handled dumb as well. A bill based off of the collective use of water through the complex. The buildings are old. That's ok. What's not ok is that they are so old that if work needs to be done. You might get a knock on your door asking some stranger or worker to use your outlet with no compensation. The popcorn ceiling is so old that it chips away at the slightest hint of water or steam. It was by far the worst two years of my life spent.
Not a bad community, my neighbors are great and courteous. However the complex has horrible laundry facilities. Two out of six machines are broken and parts have "been on order" for over three months. They raise the rent every time I renew my lease and yet they can't manage to fix a simple washing machine. They can afford to run the sprinklers during the rainy season, they can afford to maintain the nasty mosquito pools they are so proud of, but can they handle making sure residents can do a simple load of laundry? Nope. Would not recommend the Yacht Club for that very reason.
First the good: a good price for a basic place to live, it depends where your apt is, but there seems to be enough parking in most areas, they have a pretty good fitness area, unlike a few on here, I had no roaches in my place, which is a must Now the bad: they have possibly the dumbest office staff around, I mean really stupid, I wonder if they even got out of elem school, even though the staff changes constantly, & unless you plan ahead, you will most likely get stuck with an apt near the freeway, which is right in back, you'll need to keep the windows & balcony door closed, so no sleepin with the windows open on a cool night, & you have to be aware that these jerks want 60 day notice - not 30 day, which is plenty of time, plus if you have to move & break your lease, they screw you with 2 month's fee, not 1 month like all other apt businesses, so be mindful of that before you sign up
Conveniently located to everything I need.
