thumbnail for Allgolf Overland Golf Course #overland I was told when I stopped by that this is the oldest golf course West of the Mississippi River. I cannot confirm that, but it does say on the sign entering the place, that it was founded in 1895. The course is mostly flat, so not a lost of strenuous hill climbs.

thumbnail for RTD Light Rail Evans Station #overland The light rail and bus transfer hub for the area. I also offers a small Park and Ride Lot. The station sits directly under the Evans Street Bridge. It's very convenient for light rail. But I do find waiting for a bus after dark kind of dicey, there is little traffic or security and only one way out of the area. Other than that, it is convenient at most other times.
