Tony T.: Mel Lastman Square is the central stage for local community events and gatherings, often being the location for hosting firework displays for special occasions.

Tony T.: The rock by the park is geocoded, but location seems to be in Lake Ontario. Strange.

Tony T.: Neat plaza to hand out. There's 2 hours of free boat parking. I should get a boat.

Tony T.: There's a trail along the river road. Some people go for a run. Others just sit on some of the many benches and watch airplanes take off from YVR.

Tony T.: This is a neat optical illusion that makes the book shelfs rotate as one walks along the path.

Tony T.: Art centre, museum, art gallery, community classes, and a library. This place definitely lives up to the name of a cultural centre.

Tony T.: For a place that was advertised as "Canadian food" there is surprisingly little poutine. The grill cheese sandwich with garlic fries, which served as a substitute, was delicious though.

Tony T.: Some on-the-street action at Lytton Plaza. A central Palo Alto location with street performances.

Tony T.: Mid-February is an excellent time for a pickup game of beach volleyball at the Johnson Park in sunny Palo Alto.

Tony T.: Bauhaus Books and Coffee is a classy place with just that -- books and coffee. Extra seating space upstairs, and decor that inspires to do work or study.

Tony T.: Very foggy in Seattle tonight, but there's a group of guys playing soccer on the Cal Anderson field anyway. Or it might be zombies. If I've learned anything from the movies, it's that there is a very good chance that the shadowy figures in this much fog are zombies.

Tony T.: As Seattle's sky turns purple, most of the Walk Score team rushes to the window with their cameras, to take a shot of our glorious office view. This one is mine.

Tony T.: Hidden Valley Sports Park has a variety of sports arenas already, and there's a "land use action" proposal for more sports development on the way.

Tony T.: By far the fanciest looking Tully's that I've been at. This coffee shop might have a chain name, but this location is a gem of a unique experience.

Tony T.: The path through Danny Woo Community Gardens connects the International District to the Kobe Terrace Park above.

Tony T.: Capitol Hill is certainly a very colourful neighbourhood.

Tony T.: Korean tofu soup at the Green House. It's a seat yourself kind of place, perfect for getting the food fast.

Tony T.: One of my favourite shots of UW campus. It's so serene in the early morning.

Tony T.: The skatepark just wouldn't be complete without graffiti tags and this park has a dedicated wall just for that.
